On March 9th, the High-quality Steel Slab Continuous Casting Crystallizer Core Technology and Equipment developed by China National Heavy Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd.(SINO-HEAVYMACH), which is the first set of major technical equipment project in Shaanxi province, has been rated as the first of its kind in China by Industry and Information Technology Department of Shaanxi Province.
At present, the domestic low-quality steel capacity is excessive while high-quality steel still needs to be imported from overseas. It has become urgent for steel business and equipment suppliers to accelerate core technical breakthroughs of high-quality steel workplace equipment. The High-quality Steel Slab Continuous Casting Crystallizer Core Technology and Equipment has integrated multiple functions including high-precision liquid control system, online dynawidth function, breakout forecasting system, crystallizer liquid dynawidth system and multi-mode electromagnetism control current system on the one hand; on the other hand, given improvement of regular pulling rate of 20%, cold rolling surface linear defect incidence rate can be decreased by 40%, meeting the quality demands of medium-high auto sheet. With 6 proprietary technologies,12 patents, 23 new utility patents, the high-quality steel slab continuous casting crystallizer helps to put in place 4 mechanical criteria. Its application into 230mm*2150mm slab caster of Hunan Hualing Lianyuan Steel Co.,Ltd. is a success with its comprehensive performance up to the advanced level across the globe.
