At 12:19 on July 2ed this year, the northern line of 230Kv transmission and transformation project of east-ring phase one of Cambodia undertaken by CHMC was completed in power transmission and officially kicked off operating.

The completion of the line would greatly eased the tension of electricity use of the northern four provinces in Cambodia, which will better meet the working and living demands of local residents.

Work began on March 3rd 2018 for the northern line of 230Kv transmission and transformation project of east-ring phase one of Cambodia with the whole length of 102 kilometers. The same-tower double-circuit single-conductor form erection was adopted, a new converting station was established and a compartment was extended for the end-to-end converting station. Extending from economic garden, farmland to hills, the difficulty of this expropriation and construction is very high. Since the construction began, work was deployed in advance for the project with deliberate arrangement and clear responsibility. By overcoming tight work schedule, heavy task and field construction in the rain forest, the work was carried out with good quality and rapid pace while maintaining strict prevention and protection measures, making it possible for the construction to be completed half-a-year ahead.

On the day when the line was lively operated, the project department organized their employees to carry out training in equipment operation and maintenance for EDC, which was highly approved by the client in terms of engineering construction quality and supporting service.
