On July 9th, the 230Kv transmission and transformation project of CHMC in Cambodia from Siem Reap to Pontoon was officially put into production.
The engineering has covered the 230Kv transmission and transformation line with a length of 135 kilometers included in the project Cambodia southwest looped network from Siem Reap to Pontoon and the new 230Kv Pontoon converting station and Siem Reap converting station included in the east-ring phase two project.
The completion of this engineering will serve as an important connection between Pontoon, Siem Reap and Preah Vihear, greatly easing the electricity shortage in those places, which can lay a solid foundation for achieving Tonle Sap network transmission.
Since the work resumed, all project workers worked together in the fight against the pandemic and construction difficulty in the rainy season to provide a good-quality, secure and efficient construction for the engineering.
