Recently, Erzhong Equipment Inspection Center has passed the on-site inspection of calibration project extension by China National Accreditation Commission for conformity assessment (CNAS), marking its calibration capacity can successfully be applied to non-destructive detection equipment and physical and chemical detection equipment, which is a brand-new breakthrough in the calibration capacity.
During the two days of on-site experimentation and systematic document appraisal, the group of specialists conducted a broad range of vertical evaluation in qualification, standard equipment, experiment environment and practical operation. Finally, 16 categories of equipment calibration projects including high temperature creep rupture testing machine, magnetic particle flaw detector, ultrasonic flaw detector, extensometer and digital temperature indicating regulator involving 23 national and international metrological calibrations all passed the on-site inspection.
In the process of the inspection, the Inspection Center of Erzhong Equipment also incorporated over 30 national and international calibration standards and completed over 30 calibration working instructions, over 30 uncertainty measurements and hundreds of practical operations of calibration.
The successful extension inspection will be beneficial for reducing the outsourced calibration cost of the measuring equipment in the company, providing further support for expanding inspection equipment calibration market.
