Tatay Hydropower Station of CHMC in Cambodia Has Completed the Electricity-generating Task Ahead of the Time for Six Consecutive Years

Until October 31st, 2020, the Tatay Hydropower Station of CHMC in Cambodia generated electricity of up to 866 million kilowatt hour, completing the yearly target ahead of the time. It was the sixth year for Tatay Hydropower Station to meet beyond the needs of yearly generating task, meanwhile, it has been in good operation without any security loophole for 2272 days in a row, which signaled its dual success in security production and completion of electricity generation.

The year of 2020 has witnessed CHMC in achieving the target in the Tatay Hydropower Station through overcoming multiple difficulties in defiance of the COVID-19.

The unpredictable rainy season in Cambodia dealt CHMC another challenge, which was confronted by the whole crew of CHMC in the Tatay Hydropower Station without any flinching by attaching great importance to daily management of security production and operation maintenance.

In order to guarantee the smooth work in the Tatay Hydropower Station, the relevant project team further perfected the stand-by system which required a non-stop surveillance on the dam.
