Recently, the thermal test of the alloy continuous caster of HBIS Group Shisteel Company (hereinafter referred to as HBIS Shisteel ) Environmental-protection relocation project was successful. 

HBIS Shisteel 1# alloy continuous carter is a 200×200mm six-stand square caster, with multiple categories, high quality and complex production technique. The casting machine has employed multiple advanced technologies with leading equipment in China. This caster has been used in manufacturing high-quality special steel products in automobile production, engineering machinery, railway and railway transportation and military industries in order to meet the needs of national major project and high-end equipment manufacturing.

The HBIS Shisteel 1# caster project undertaken by SINO-HEAVYMACH is an EPC general contracting project including civil engineering design and construction, equipment design and supply, caster installation and adjustment. After the project contract was signed, project employees overcame various difficulties such as tight schedule, high demands and COVID-19 outbreak, making new breakthroughs and achieving the successful thermal test of 1# caster. Now the 2# caster is also in the process of adjustment in an orderly manner. The completion of this project will both upgrade the equipment, intelligence, energy-saving, green environment-protection of HBIS Group Shisteel continuous caster production line to new level and set the example in the short flow route steelmaking process of SINO-HEAVYMACH.
