On December 30^th, 2020, the 200-ton overhead crane of the main workhouse of Laos Nam Ngum 4 Hydropower Station undertaken by CHMC was put into place.

The successful installation of the overhead crane has laid a solid foundation for embedment, stator and rotor of the hydraulic turbine and other major electromechanical equipment in the following days, which signaled that the Nam Ngum 4 Hydropower Station had entered the full-operation phase of the electromechanical equipment installation.

Before its full operation, Laos Nam Ngum 4 Hydropower Station Project Department Organization Unit made the assessment in a meticulous and scientific way and strengthened the security control and technical disclosure during the hoisting process, ensuring the smooth operation of the overhead crane.
