Recently, the East Ring Network Phase-one Project of CHMC in Cambodia (hereinafter referred to as the East Ring Network Phase-one Project) has obtained the certificate of completion of work issued by EDC, marking that the project had been finished on all fronts.
The successful completion of the East Ring Network Phase-one Project has greatly erased the electricity shortage of the northeastern area in Cambodia, helping Cambodia achieve the goal of having one converting station in every province of its country.
The East Ring Network Phase-one Project was signed in October 2016, took effect in November 2017 and officially began the work in March 2018, including two new 50MVA converting stations, one booster station and new 275-kilometer 230Kv common-tower double circuit transmission lines, covering four provinces of the northeastern area of Cambodia.
During the project construction, the project team worked hard to overcome the adverse weather effects and the challenges brought by the hostile environment of the primary forest, closely coordinating various links from survey and design to field management, finally achieving the goal in terms of security, quality, progress, cost objective and schedule with great success, which won the high approval of the client.
