Recently, CHMC signed with the State Grid of Kyrgyzstan on the supply contract for 220kV/250MVA autotransformer, which will be used in the main power supply substations of Bishkek and Osh, the capital and the second largest city of Kyrgyzstan.

Ala Archa substation, the No.2 step-down substation, located at Bishkek, is of great significance to the power supply of the capital of Kyrgyzstan. With growing load of Ala Archa substation, the replacement of the low-capacity substation with 250MVA autotransformer would be good for stabilizing the power supply in the local place and providing strong support for upgrading and expanding the No.2 thermal power station.
