Recently, EDC granted the remarkable contribution award to CHMC in honor of the latter’s achievement in accomplishing the first-phase project of the Eastern Looped Network with high quality.

At present, the first-phase project of the Eastern Looped Network greatly assuaged the electricity shortage of the local citizens, creating favorable conditions for rapid development of the regional economy.

The first-phase project of the Eastern Looped Network was started in March, 2018, including construction of two 50MVA converting stations, one booster station and 275-kilometer 230kV double circuit transmission line, covering four provinces in the northeast of Cambodia.
