On December 10th, in order to commend Tatay Hydropower Station for its success in maintaining high efficiency and safe operation in its power generation for seven consecutive years and its remarkable contribution to national electricity supply in Cambodia in 2021, KeoRottanak, the immediate minister under the premier of Cambodia and the president of Electricite du Cambodge (EDC) issued and conferred the Prize of the Highest Efficiency, Safe Operation and Excellence of Power Generation in 2021to Tatay Hydropower Station.

Mr. KeoRottanak extended sincere appreciation to the staff of Tatay Hydropower Station and full approval of its operating ability with especially high commendation over its achievement in zero accident and infallible COVID-19 prevention efforts. Meanwhile, he expressed his expectation that Tatay Hydropower Station would keep its high efficiency in power generation and the Upper Hydropower Station would be put into operation at an early time.

Tatay Power Station has exceeded its designed capacity of power generation for seven consecutive years, with a production of 7 billion Kw.h in total during seven years, contributing rich clean-energy to Cambodia and actively advancing social and economic development of Cambodia.
