Recently, the Phnom Penh East-ring Phase-two EPC project of CHMC successfully passed the inspection of the client with its live operation at the first attempt, which has been highly commended by the client.

The converting station in the east of Phnom Penh is the biggest of its kind under construction in Cambodia, which is an important part for connecting looped network of Phnom Penh. The live operation of the converting station will greatly ease the electricity shortage of the surrounding areas of the east of Phnom Penh, strengthen the power transmission of the looped network of Phnom Penh and provide a new channel of power transmission for the 200 MW duel fuel of heavy oil and natural gas, which will significantly improve the stability of power supply and power grid in the dry season of Phnom Penh.
